some models, all vehicles used for towing must be on customers own
insurance, fully comprehensive.
BASIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE
You must be over 21 or over 25 depending on the vehicle you wish
to hire. (Maximum age 74).
A full drivers licence must be held for a minimum of 12 months or
longer in some cases with continual driving experience and licence
presented at time of hire, certain endorsements may be accepted.
If you are wishing to use your new photo licence, both parts of
licence must be produced (i.e. photo & green sheet) with endorsement
information on it.
A full driving license must be held, endorsements may vary upto
9 points accepted only. Allowances may be made at the discretion
of Stamford Van and Car Hire depending on the type of endorsements,
how many points awarded and the date they were given.
The vehicles are on an unlimited mileage basis, however, no vehicle
under any circumstances may leave mainland Britain without prior written
consent from Stamford Van and Car Hire. Extra charges will apply.
Hiring of 7.5 ton wagons must produce operators license, for business
use only.
All hire charges in advance and £100 deposit required on the day
of hire.
